anyone know when youll be able to get them, the **** alone on the radio sounds good enough. any new colors?

They are Replacing the Black Cherry Pearl on the xB's with a color called Red Salsa Pearl. I've seen the color sample at the dealership that I got my xB from and the Red Salsa is Hot (no pun intended)

 

I've heard rumors (only rumors mind you) that BOP is being
dropped for another blue. I wouldn't mind that myself. I've
really grown to like the BOP, and I'm starting to see a bit
many of them on the road! LOL

 

I'm waiting on an 06 before I get my xB. According to Scion of Glendale they'll be out around September/October. When I asked the Scion website in the chat they said "End of summer"

 

i have heard... but maby i am just gulliable... but i heard that the '06 xb's will have a tc engine..

 

This may have been posted somewhere else, but I'm not going to search for it now. 2 new colors for '06...Salsa Red Pearl (3Q3) & Shadow Mica (1F4). Replaced are Black Cherry and Camouflage. New radio controls, just like the tC. The '06's don't even start production in Japan until the week of July 4th, so don't expect to see them available until late July til mid-August. One thing we did notice, but noone within Toyota/Scion is aware of, is the latest dealer showroom DVD shows the xB available with side/curtain airbags.

Are there any other dealers that have noticed or heard about this?

 

Dear Scion:
For 06, please think about these suggestions.
1. Make the mirror control panel illuminate.
2. Make the horn only beep when the car is on.
3. Get rid of the stupid Fisher Price steering wheel.
4. Give us a lockable glovebox.
5. Give us an outside temp. display and compass in the rear-view mirror.

They just issued a statement that they are making a new DVD to replace that one with the side airbags showing on the xB. And for all dealers to used the old DVDs.

 

I heard the new colors wont be available until december. Why? i have no clue. You supposedly can get the older colors when they release but no new colors till december. I cant wait till they come out. Ive been waiting alooooonnnngggg time for the 06's. Its kinda strange that the dealers (some.. sry dealers on this site) are sayin they wont be available till sept/oct. when the official scion web ppl say july/august... hmmm

 

I'm trying to figure out where the AUX Jack/iPod connection will be located in the 06 xB's. I love where it is in the tC, but I can't figure out for the life of me where it would go in the xB

 

So no side airbags? Why not? I'd sure help in my grandparent negotiations...
