Actually, I was trying to be funny. My girlfriend tells me I really shouldn't try because it's just sad. She likes how critical some of you're being; she is definately on your side. I understand what you mean by it being just a list. It's true that I don't have any idea how these parts will work together. You are sort of funny and very right. BUT who says I would stop at this list. I really love the xB and I'm planning on driving it until my kids start complaining of embarrassment (I'm a couple years away from even being married.) My plan is to get that list finished before I have to settle down. Then I can take my time and do some really cool custom work myself over a longer period. In the end I hope that it looks like something totally unlike an xB. I get what you're saying though.

Could I please get a little CONSTRUCTIVE (not DESTRUCTIVE) ideas that might be above and beyond what's mentioned above. Something cool that someone would do if they had the time/money?
Well, good luck with all this. If I was going to spend 1700 on some bling bling rims my wife would leave me. I'd rather have a leather couch if you ask me than to spend a ton of money on a car i drive an hour a day.

It seems kind of lame to work 3 jobs so you can buy car parts. If I was you I'd just chill out, but if you're planning on keeping it forever I say do whatever.

I would start with the smaller, cheaper mods (under $300) because the cost of body kits, turbos, and leather is going to go down as more people buy the xB and start working on them. You can get a pretty noticable change if you swap the little things out (tail lights, grill, eyelids, spoiler, blue LEDs and cathodes, etc).

To save money, you can do the cathodes yourself.

Get creative!

Yes, that's why I need to do it now before my girlfriend has any more power over me. Even though I love my girlfriend we aren't totally committed yet. We haven't even gone out for half a year yet. So I still have a little time to be young and stupid, YAY! Oh, and I have a leather couch.

Here's the first year of mods by month:
1. interior lighting, tail lights, fog lights, decal, cleared corners, debadging, floor matts, window tint, pedals, and shift ****
2. leather and security
3 & 4. wheels, tires, coil-overs, and strut bar
5 & 6. audio system
7. axle back exhaust, CAI, crank pulley, voltage stabilizer, ground wires, and spark plugs
8 & 9. ground effects, old JDM bB headlights, eye lids, grill, spoiler, and better clear coat
10, 11 & 12. forced induction, fuel management, a-pillar guages, shift light and brakes

I could forget the last 3 months... I'll find out when I get there.

Well if you are still set on going FI, then here are some more thoughts. This is purely going on the performance of the kit not the cost. The stafford fab turbo kit is complete with IC and fuel management too. PM AllBlackxB about it, he's been the guinea pig with nothing but great results. I'm thinking about getting it too. Otherwise you can go with the Blitz kit which is also complete and seems to be more widely used but doesn't seem to output as much as the turbo kit. Also, a while back I believe somebody said that they're were problems with the auto kit of the Blitz S/C, but I'm not sure if they've been resolved. Anyway, I like your style about being different from the rest of the crowd, so all the more power to ya. Show us some pics when you get your new box and also slowly transition it to what you want it to be. :D

You have awesome plans, I would just be a little more creative and do less with the bolt on stuff. I like where you're going with the Full Bloom Vizages kit (note, that's going to require heavy modification on the front bumper because it's made for gen 1 bB), but you need to do something to really set it off. How about something really custom one of a kind?

The gen 1 bB bumper is a few inches shorter. You're either going to have to heavily mod your kit to stretch it out or you're going to have to take your bumper bar out.

And trust me, there will always be a nicer car than yours out there. You can't beat everyone....especially large sponsoring companies.

Not to mention, that Greddy turbo kit has not been tested much and will likely require some tuning etc. with mild gains and questionable reliability. If you're stretched paying for these items you're gonna be screwed when they require work...

There are many already running xBs with similar mods, with a huge head start over you. That list won't get you published...

Sorry.
Whoa, what a true statement.
I have piles of people around my "rig" at every gathering, all asking about $$$$. I am a completely private venture, but everyone thinks it is big bucks because I have vinly letters. My whole truck is super low bucks. If you havn't seen my rig, check the link below. I got the enire wheels setup for under $800, and all the other mods were super cheap! $100 floor mats, dask kit, guages were $140, some simple led's, $120 for rear bumper, 100 for painted bug guard, free to clear corners, 120 for billet grills, 180 for tails, 50 for all led bulbs, 200 for tint, 120 for armrest, 40 to paint brakes, 40 for strut tower brace, 30 for ground wires.

You add it up. It aint that spendy!!!
