i'm using TRD and I like it, might not be quite enough for you, but the stock muffler wasn't that quiet either. TRD is just a little louder than stock. you might want to inquire about the DC or Blitz mufler.

MagnaFlow has a full stainless cat back exhaust. They will have some for sale at the El Toro meet for cheap. It's the only mass production cat back system on the market.

i think theres going to be a hard time getting any sort of consensus on an exhaust since there are alot out (compared to other stuff for or car)

ive heard very mixed reviews on the trd. some like it. so say its very 'DRONEY'

im waiting for the injen ses exhaust before i decide since ive been very happy with the intake ive got from them. so i think they deserve a fair shake on the exhaust. unless it takes forever and a good deal comes up first.

of course you know what i'm gonna say ;)

hit Jon up for a SPFR cat back, uses a magnaflow muffler and a custom resonater and is 100% mandrel bent, good for at least 7whp and 5lbs torque!

**ahem** jon, when you getting to the shop man, i can't wait to get mine installed!

or check out the magnaflow, or the stylis manafold back systems, both are making some good power since they are a full system, rather than just a a can.

if you want some real power gains, i'd stay away from the axel back systems, they are mainly for looks/sound, not for performance.

I have the Tanabe axle back on my xB. Its low, throaty, and not that loud. In fact at 3.5k rpm I hear the Injen intake more than I hear the exhaust!

I want the Magnaflow cat-back, but the rep wouldn't take a check from me at El Toro before the meet. I couldn't find him at the meet to find out how I could pay w/ CC on monday. Oh well, my loss. Denny, Adrian, and Nilo had it, and it sounded great!

Does anyone have the Blitz or RSR exhaust? I'd like to hear some opinions on those, I like the way the Blitz looks, but I like how the RSR has bigger piping. Then I was going to fab up my own intermidiate pipe from the cat to the axle-back.

stock with a nice tip, you lose too much bottom end power and the upper end gains of 2-3 HP are just not worth the 300-400 bucks.......just my opinion.

I would go with a Powertone muffler and just do the custom piping round the axle. It's the best sound I've heard but then again, I've gotten 2 tickets in the last month and a half. I like the sound so much I keep on the exhaust and just pay the increasing price in my tickets. I got off one ticket but had to pay another one this week. They bumped it up $50 from the one I got off but hey, sounds KILLER
