Hey all,
Should be less than 4 days untill I am actually a Scion owner...finally. I was just wondering about breaking a car in. Now I know the xa is the same as any other car when it comes to this, but I was planning on traveling around 70-80 miles within the first couple days of having it. Some people say break them in slowly, some say treat it normally, and few say break it in a little hard (somethin bout the piston shafts). What do you all think? Thanks, Happy Holidays

 

I drove home from the dealership, on the highway at 65 to 70 mph, 100 miles. The next couple hundred miles were combination city and highway. Just don't drive the car very hard for a bit. You don't have to baby it, just take it easy and you should have no problems.

 

just drive it, but dont hot dog it

 

just drive it like its a used car, no need of breaking in!!
