Default Fresh out of the tub!(pics)

I needed to wash my xB after putting 2000 miles on it in a week. I also needed some pics of it clean. So I though Id share. Nothing too cool but I havent put one dollar toward it yet so what little you see didnt cost a thing.

I cleaned up the engine bay... someone was giving me ____ in another thread cuz the only pic I had was when it was dirty. By the way it only took me 15-20min to get it close to new. I painted the engine cover black because I wasnt sure what I was going to so black was universal and I could always repaint.

I debadged the rear myself, turned out great.

Painted the caps myself too.

How long did you leave it in the tub? Looks like a while, If you look closely, it looks like your box has "prune tires"....

Yeah, they are the 9 spoke. I used an engine enamel and VHT flameproff clearcoat.

That blur you speak of is a FAT fingerprint on the lens. I like what you call it better!
Asian Portrait picture blur. :D

I bought it cuz I like the square shape, The wing takes away that sharp drop off the rear. Dont get me wrong I still like a wing...Im thinking about getting one but Im not ready. Im gunna stick with the square look for a while.

Clean and simple is a good thing! I like how you painted the wheel covers. That is what Scion is all about! Some like the custom look, some likes the clean and simple look. I too like the clean and simple look. As you can see I do not even have a picture of my XB on my signature! Just "ScionJohn" clean and simple. By the way nice pictures!!!! :D

Ya, the Playboy photoshoot soft focus is actually pretty cool looking. They actually have a lens filter that does the same thing.

I was the guy who posted smack about your dirty engine bay. You posted pics of the great paint job on the engine cover, meanwhile your hoses and other stuff were all brown. Just me, but i take pride in my ride. Didnt mean to offend in the other thread though, Peace?

P.S. i dig those painted wheel covers
