i have a stock tcm xb which i use to deliever pizzas. this often means driving in some what unfamiliar areas and pulling into drive ways. and so far im pretty good at scrapping my front lip on steep driveways. even when im trying to be super careful i let my guard down just long enough to hear that sccchrrrrrchhhh on the pavemnet. my previous car (96 for escort) hada simialar clearance on the front but underneth the car was a sort of scratch gaurd, it was basically a thick metal plate that hung below the front bumper, so when ever i scrapped the plate you pay the toll not the bumper. is there anything i can install on my xb that would preform the same function? i have a feeling i cant buy this off the self, i will probally have to find someone with a lil know how. but i was just curios, i figured that it will probally be cheaper to install a guard rather then buy 10 stock front lips so i can swap em out when ever i bottom out too bad. that that i have hit it all that hard, just basically scratched the bottom a lil.

 

i would say search for a wrecked scion and buy the front lip kit , then cut it and add metal to the underside , kinda like a shorter higher front lip , just till u dont have to do pizza duties ne more ya know?

Yes it is the 3M ScotchGard product made to fit the front spoiler. While it will not stop all damage it can help. My bumper is so low to the ground and if it wasnt for this product my bumper would be trashed.
