Default funny sound while braking???

I was wondering if anybody else is experiencing this. When I turn my steering wheel to the right and brake at the same time, the brakes makes this squeaking sound. someone told me it might be my powersteering??? i just picked up my 06 PW on 3/29. is it something i should worry about? should I take it back to the dealer? thanks in advance.

sounds like one of your clips is out of place on the brake pads (the clips are supposed to keep your brakes from vibrating but if out of place can cause a sqeek or squeal type of sound). nothing to worry about as far as being safe, your brakes will continue to work, but it does get annoying. you can just take your pads out and try to realign everything or have a brake person look at them. (sometimes it will stop on its own, but not usually).

it only happens when I'm doing like 2mph. ( driving in my driveway). it doesn't sound any other time.

My car is doing the same thing when I turn to the left. When I had it at the dealer 2 weeks ago, they told my they had to lubricate the steering column....needless to say the sound was louder when I left there. It doesn't do it as often now, but it is going back in on Thursday for them to look at it again.

Mine actually does that exact same thing. It does it really loud sometimes, most of the time it doesn't do it at all. I just assumed it was something stupid and didn't bother wasting my time with the dealership.

it might be the steering column, but it still sounds like the clips for the brakes. yeah, even at slow speeds your brakes can vibrate quite a bit.
