Default Fusion Bass Tube with Stock Headunit and Speakers?

Found this product the other day, and the price and performance seem attractive.

http://shop1.outpost.com/product/525...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG

I'm not looking for my xB to be able to blow a window out, but rather just to round out the extremely tinny stock speakers with some low end. Think this will compliment the stock system well? Will it connect to the stock iPod HU? I know next to nothing about car audio

Thanks in advance!

Yea... you can hook it up, but you might need a line out converter, unless it has speaker level inputs.

I wonder how it sounds. It's like the bazooka, but bigger (and kinda ugly, but that can be fixed)

I guess my main question is how well would my whole system sound if it was all stock + this tube?

I have a kennwood box with one 10" sub and a built in 200W amp, with all stocks, but with an alpine deck, 50w a channel. With the power from the stock H.U running your stocks, they may get drowned out a bit by the bass if you take it too high. But it's a good start on upgrading your system, you can change the H.U or add an amp and new components later as funds permit.

Thanks for the reply bbszero69!

Final question: how easy is it to install? Does the stock hu have the proper hookups? I'm a computer tech so i'm not afraid of wires, but i've never modded a vehicle or worked with anything car audio.
