There are grommets in they engine bay and the floor. Just poke a small hole and run wires all day long.
The ones in the floor are easier but the engine bay is cleaner.

There are rubber grommets under the car. Cut a small slice in one and pull the wiring through.

You can find them by lifting up your carpet or looking under your car.

After pulling wires thru the grommets, put a dab of silicone sealant on where they went thru; that will help ensure that water never does.

I didnt want to mess with lifting the carpet and such...seemed like a big hassle.

On the passenger side engine bay, there is a large bundle of wires going into the firewall through a large grommet. On both sides of the grommet are to long nipples. Cut the tip off and slide your wires right on through. A dab of silicone into the nipple insures a waterproof seal.

You can easily slide even a 4guage wire thru the main wire bundle firewall grommet near the steering column. A small slice somewhat toward the center but not in the protruding part where the wires are will work and allow protection from shorting against the outside edge of the hole (access to this grommet is pretty good on both firewall and interior sides). The large rubber grommet toward the right side of the firewall has 2 nipples that can be opened for passing wires also, acces to grab them and pull them thru here is difficult from the inside tho.

You crazy. it's no big thing. no glue, tape or sticky stuff at all. come up easy. But, me personally, I would use the ones in the fire wall.

here's one way to do it, using a screwdriver that I ground the edges off of. I taped the wire to the blade and used the screwdriver to push thru the grommet.

you can see the grommet at the firewall, behind the strut tower

this is a view straight up from the clutch. you can see the red handle of the screwdriver.

nothing has moved in this pic, but i've put it here for reference. the wire is the same wire you see in the earlier pic.

the red tape at the end of the screwdriver is much easier to see than black. just undo the tape, and pull the wire up. don't forget to put the screwdriver away.

voila!

agreed, and I use a hanger quite a bit. in this case, I felt that the screwdriver was more precise, and easier to control. it's a personal choice.
