Did you mount a speaker under your hood? Why are you running speaker wire through there?

hehe, no, I was running power to puddle lamps. this was just what I had handy, and the wire will never be seen.

Not meaning to rain on your parade but FYI - speaker cable is not meant to handle continuous current. I believe there may be a possibility of car fires.

I would research it a bit.

No problem, actually. If the wire is the correct gauge for the current it's going to carry, it will carry that amount of current safely.

I'm about to install a Varad underbody LED kit, should I go through the floor or the engine bay? Which would be best?

I ran my underbody LEDs through the floor, due to how much wire I already had running out that engine bay grommet. But I think I would still run it through the floor if I had to re do it. It was easy.

If I use the floor method where does the wire come out? If it is under the carpet does it lift up easily and set back nicely?

It depends... There is 4 (or is it 6) rubber grommets on the bottom of the car. The carpet lays back fine.

the Carpet is easy to look under. You should have an easy time finding the best way for your stuff.
