i suggest you do a lot more research on scion. there are no trim models or variations on SCION vehicles, only optional accessories.

It depends on what you are looking for in a vehicle. If looking for

alot of power then go with the tC. But if you are looking for plenty

of room and good gas milage the the xB is you best bet (huge

amountof room). The xA is great if you do not require alot of room

but want a good around town, good gas milage vehicle.

I’m new to this to but let me see if I can answer a few questions.

Your friend has an xB to sell you.
There is only one model and it comes with many standard features like power windows, A/C, traction control, anti-loc brakes ECT.
Then there are accessories like lighted cup holders, armrest, tail lights ECT. Go to scion.com and bone up on it.
The only real choices you get before accessories are added is the choice of auto or manual and color.

You say it is a good deal. What year? Mileage? Condition? Color? Accessories?

A sunroof is NOT a factory option. There is even talk of a sunroof compromising the structural integrity of the vehicle. They are however available aftermarket.
Do a search on the subject.

I paid $11,800 for a 2005 Black Cherry Pearl Automatic with 39,000 highway miles. The only accessories are an armrest and floor mats.

Check e-bay current and completed auctions for what a good price to pay might be.

Hope that helps!

if a sunroof is really all that you have going for you, then get a tC. otherwise, look into what you want to use the car for and how practical you want to be in terms of cargo room and gas mileage.

Not sure what your friend can do for you. It was my understanding that employees pay the same as anyone else. Each year there is a RS model (Release Series) that has special trim features. So far there has been three releases--rumors of number four being the last one issued.
