Default Got Crack???

Before I go on anymore, check out the linky.....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6472

If this "stealership" thinks that this xB is worth as much as the auction is stating, I need to inquire with them on some of the "crack" that they are smoking!

I had my xB on ebay a couple of weeks ago and have over $8000 in aftermarket, and my reserve was no where near this???

I like the fact that for 23k you dont even get a rear spoiler or fogs. If it had those options, it would be at least be worth 27k by thier figuring.....

First off this is a brand new vehicle, it's not Joe Schmoe's used car, it's brand new...36 miles. Then you throw in the extras:

Motegi Wheels/Toyo Tires
Billet on all 3 grilles
2 LCD screens in the headrests
1 LCD in the dash
All the speakers are JL Audio
Custom speaker box
DVD player
Borla Exhaust

And I know that this next part is hard to do, but you have to remember that this stuff didn't put itself into/on the box. Somebody had to install all of this which means installation costs.

The dealership went to all the trouble to pimp this box and I'm sure the custom speaker box wasn't cheap if they went through an audio shop, which they probably did. If the dealership doesn't charge what it cost them to get everything done, then they lose money. I think the box is worth $23k, and if they were to mark it up I bet it would go for $26+k. I wouldn't buy it b/c it takes the fun out of customizing, but there are people out there with money that would pay big bucks for a car that's already customized.

all that hifi didn't cost the dealership more than 5 G's..... I'd guess the dealserhip has around $20.5k invested in that car, and that is pushing it. I think they are trying to find some profit in these cars that otherwise isn't there. Keep in mind the normal markup on these cars is around $700..... so a $3k+ markup sounds a lot better to the salesman.
