ive been having this weird problem here and there

it happens when the car is being shifted into first gear while it was in neutral

say like at a traffic light

when it turns green it sounds like a grinding noise but its not like a bad shift grind it sounds more like a plastic grind

im thinking maybe a bad syncro?

its not every time though, its like hit or miss

i thought it was me at first but i let two other people drive the car and it happened to them also

anybody else have this problem?

 

I had it then I realized I wasnt getting the clutch pedal all the way down, I was catching my size 12s on the dead rest and wasnt clearing the pedal.
