Default Has anyone traded a tc for a xb

I have really been looking at getting a xb lately. Ever since I got to drive one over a weekend i have had a different impression about it. The test drive before I got my tc just didn't do it for me at first and now I'm regretting it.

Anyone happy or unhappy with your trade.

I want to get different wheels for it to, but the 18s are just to much cash. If I opt to get aftermarket will a grand be enough to do so.

I like my tc but the box is too hot.

You will love it and you can also get a great 17" wheel and tire package for 1K or less. Good luck and keep us updated.
Here is a great place to start looking for them http://www.victoriatire.com/w_car_se...95&MAKE=SCION&

Thanks for the link. Wow what a price difference! I plan on making a decission this week. Its leaning torwards yes, but I keep having second thoughts. I'll be saving money payment wise and the financing will be less too. Family will _____ though, because its another new car.

I hope the trade works for you! Let us know how well you deal with the hp change. I went in to buy an xB and sold myself up to the tC with one test drive. I thought I needed a little more oomph and was afraid the xB was an overall downgrade from my Golf. My heart is all about the xB but logic demanded the tC. I'll probably be following in your footsteps shortly though!

Go UW-Stout! ;)

I was thinking the same thing, too. But after driving it and then going back to the tc. I didn't feel it was an issue. Even with it being an automatic I still enjoyed driving it. They should really let you test drive over night.

I couldn't find the "I'm cheating on my tc with a xb" thread

I got the ball rolling today. There are two dealers that have one. I just hope that there not sold already. So, maybe next week I will be the new owner of a shadow mica 5 speed box!

They both have floormates, which I did not include in my purchase. The daeler wants me to pay extra for them. Why can't they just take them out? I will not pay $200 for mats when you can get some for $20.

If it were only that simple. Problem is that is on the window sticker already. I hate when dealers order them with port installed mats. Why not just stock them and sell them to people that want them. Look at it this way. At least they only have floormats on them. They could have had all the overpriced items.
BTW, where can you get some Scion floormats for 20 bucks? I'd like a set please.

I traded my tC for and xB and smile everyday I get in it, wouldn't ever go back do what makes you happy thats most important, the glamour of the tC wore off so fast for me, I knew the box was what I wanted. and I'm happy I made the switch

I hear you on that. I use to be able to stare at it for hours. Now it seems a lot like everything else. The xb has always looked good to me.

I love my TC to death, but I'm hoping my girlfriend gets an XB and lets me share.
