At least you didn't spend the $150 for the floor mats and then another $25 for regular floormats to protect the expensive floormats like someone I know.

so tCscotty, I guess your screenname will have to change now.

Yeah I was thinking about that. I change it when I get it. I have a feeling I'm going to have to wait awhile for it. Even when I get it I still have my jada tc. Will that still count?

Me too! I really wouldn't trade my tC, but I went to the dealer where I bought my tC, and I really like the Frog!
You need to dump those crappy wheels, but overall, I really liked it.

I wonder if the Alpine in the 3.0 would work in the tC?
I already have the Pioneer iPod setup in my tC, but the Alpine unit looks much cooler.

you got me laughing all over again... i had called my internet sales guy because that freakin xB rocked and he convinced me not to do it...and also i thought what am i thinking? i can't take a hit on my tC to buy an xB. Honestly, not that there's anything wrong with the xB, i love it....but i just want to step to 30k horsepower next (used S4) not into another 20k pushme/pullyou (xB/tC).

yeah, yeah, it's a chick's car (certainly the azure pearl anyway). but you're point is? (i think i detect someone having a little trouble with identity issues)

c'mon now...just because the xB is the predominant vehicle in the "Scions and Gays" thread in Off Topic, doesn't make it a "___ car". cars are just cars. they don't have "genders"....well, except for miatas, vw bugs, jettas, and jeeps, now THOSE are freakin' chick cars.

you can't let others' perceptions define your taste. (unless of course you're a dude thinking of driving a miata, vw bug, jetta or jeep obviously....).

Around me I've only seen two girls that own tc's. The rest are guys and I've seen one guy that owns azure pearl. Not disagreeing with the statistics. Thats just how it is around here.

I'm not trading it for that reason though. I really like the space the box has and the look of it with some nice wheels. I used to only buy cars/trucks with v8s or something you could stuff one into. Liked the torque of the tc. It didn't feel like to much of a step down. Now I don't miss it. If I want something fast I'll get something down the road when I'm settled down and have more expenable cash.

They both have floormates, which I did not include in my purchase. The daeler wants me to pay extra for them. Why can't they just take them out? I will not pay $200 for mats when you can get some for $20.
I payed 120 for all my scion mats and am very pleased with them.

jeep one of the most offroadble cars ever.

miata a autocross killer , new vw bugs are weak , old vw bugs are sick , jetta . ehhh. it's a chick car but it can be tight.

Just buy one of each.

Just kidding, the xB is my wife's car. In most every way it is a better car than the tC, even though it costs less. However, for driving in traffic the tC is better because it actually goes when you floor the gas pedal.

Believe me i would love to have both, but then I would have to pick one to drive. I don't think my brain could handle it!

With the manual I won't have to worry about that. 6000 and dump the clutch, right? J/K

Sorry, I couldn't resist reviving this thread. Nice to see tCscotty and I followed through with our threats! Are you still tCscotty or xBscotty now? haha.

I intended to wait for an 07 or RS4? but there was an RS3 on the lot on my bday so I just traded the tC for it. I do miss the fit and finish and materials of the tC but I really couldn't be happier!

I loved the tC, but I'm in love with the xB!
