hey everyone,

I have a few questions before I go ahead and get my Scion. Any help is appreciated!

1) Is it true that no one can bargain with the Scion dealers?

2) Are there any new colors out besides the Hot lava? I like the dark silver that the xA comes in..but am not sure when (if ever) the xB will come in that color

3) Should I order the fog lights and the spoiler? I was hoping to save some money and buy a used one off this forum. Have people been selling them?

4) What's this RS 1 that I keep hearing about?

5) Will they ever offer a sunroof as an option?

1) You can't reduce the pure price, but you might be able to ask for a high value if you have a trade. This way, no one looks bad.

2) Dark Silver?? Thundercloud Metallic? check stock colors on scion.com. New colors other than the "hot lava" metallic orange are a possibility, but nothing is slated.

3) Fog lights and spoiler. Some people sell the fog lights in favor of body kits that abandon them. Both are overpriced options, but it could be a little work to get the factory spoiler in your color. The box looks good with and without those options. Looking back, I'd save the cash and buy some aftermarket rims and tires.

4) RS 1.0 = metallic orange (hot lava). 2100 limited production XB.

5) Maybe someday.

You may not see a lot of used parts, but aftermarket prices are a lot cheaper than the dealer. For example, I just added the foglights to my xB and it only cost my $208 and took 15 minutes...

 

6)How do I get an exhaust?
