Default having trouble removing front side markers...

i cant seem to take off the sidemarkers. i feel like im either gonna break them or scratch my box. if you guys have pics of how to remove or can help it would be great! Thanks!

front or rear? the rears can only be removed if you remove the rear bumper. the fronts all ya gotta do i push the lights towards the front with yer thunmb and them pull out . it's like it's hinged towards the front. they kinda just pop out

actually all you have to remove is the black 10mm bolt in on the rear edge lip of the wheelwell and then pull back the side portion of the bumper just enough that you can reach in there with a 10mm socket or offset boxwrench to remove the nut from the marker light, then the marker light itself will just come off. Bumper removal is far more work than actually needed.

Before I changed to clear rear marker lights, I'd taken off the stock red ones probably a dozen times, it only takes a minute.

(yes, I know... the question was about the FRONT ones - which just pop out - but wanted to clarify that rears were nearly just as easy)

Push them forward and lift up. Took me like 2 minutes 2 change mine 2 the JDM ones!

so nothing should happen if i put force on them right? i mean they feel like there really stuck there but ill give it a try tomorow after work. Hey WindowTint you said you put clear read markers on your xB? do you have any pics of that and where did u get the clear markers from? let me know. Thanks for all your help guys!

the clear/chrome ones can be found on ebay for cheap like 27 bucks shipped.

hey window those rear sidemarkers look tight! How did you do that? you should write up a tech on how to do that. where to get the sidemarkers and all that.

Front ones push forward and pry up. It may seem as though they are going to break, but then they pop right out.
