I paid 19.99 via PayPal for Tradebit's 2004 - 2006 Scion xB CAR REPAIR / WORKSHOP SERVICE MANUAL. http://www.tradebit.com/filedetail.php/1120934

It's supposed to be in PDF format but it's a very poor attempt. It begins with page 5 and jumps to pg 68 then 74 . It doesn't have a Table of Contents or an Index. None of the hyperlinks to various pages work.

I emailed Tradebit and asked for a refund and Ralf, puzzler@tradebit.com, replied: "You need to forward your paypal receipt to the email you sent." I asked Ralf for the email address and he sent the same reply again. " "Huh? Its "Buy Now" button takes you to PayPal.

I've sent a form inquiry to Tradebit but no word yet. PayPal requires a reasonable attempt at satisfaction before submitting a Resolution ticket.

Any suggestions?

file a claim with paypal for "item not as described"
bad new it the the buyer protection is only good for a tangable... not a computer file.

Thanks, that's good to know. At least it will get recorded with PayPal and here on the forum. It could be others were satisfied with the scrambled unindexed topics. PDF search doc did work but it is cumbersome as hell.

Will let you know how it turns out.
