Default Help please, xB stuck idle at 3000 rpm

I have been trying to trouble shoot this issue with YouTube videos and reading old threads on here. My idle is stuck at 3000 rpm as soon as I start my car. Even when it warms up or I pull the fuse to reset everything it's at 3000 rpm. No check engine lights or anything. I cleaned the throttle body with the proper cleaner and cleaned and put a new MAF sensor in today. I am so dumbfounded as to why it's like this. Only time it will come down any rpm is while driving or when I turn on the AC/Heater. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

When you cleaned the throttle body did you open/shut the butterfly? sounds like the cable is hung up or something is keeping the cable or butterfly from shutting back down to proper idle range.

I cycled the TB and wiped it out with a rag. There is no hang up in the movement of the flapper or cable. I also sprayed carb cleaner on all vacuum lines trying to find a leak to no results. Seems like it couldn't be a vacuum leak because when I pull any line off it drops rpm.

There should be some slack in the cable at the throttle body. Test by pushing down on the cable and seeing if the butterfly valve starts turning instantly (bad) or if there is a delay (good)

what did you clean the MAF sensor with?
How many miles are on your car? Are there any codes thrown?
It could also be a vacuum leak. or dirty idle air control valve.

I would check the throttle cable both under the hood and the acutal foot pedal.. I was under my dash today and did realize how dirty it was.. Next remove and clean the Idle Control Valve.. you can use break cleaner then MAF Cleaner( leaves nothing behind)..

Hope that help..
