Whats the difference in the a aa aaa etc in the carbon fiber hoods specs

 

I think it's a rating of the quality. Is the weave straight all the way through? Are there imperfections in the coating, etc. There was one company that had a problem with the adhesive that attached the CF to the framing and would appear spotted in the sun/heat. That was why they downgraded their hood rating.
