Default Help with Wheelskins? (I'm going crazy! Any advice?!)

I was putting mine on today until I got to almost the end and it started buckling up and now laying smooth when I tightened it. I unlaced that area like 5 times and kept trying different ways, but it keeps buckling up. This happens right after the left post that you have to dummy stitch over. Any idea how to fix this?

Pic Credit: Max (just used as an example as to where the buckling is occurring. It is NOT occurring in his picture, though.)

Buckling = in stead of the leather laying flat against the wheel (as pictured in Max's photo), there is a little lip that pokes up when it's tightened.

Just tried installing again and NOTHING. It seems very loose, as if it is a different size. It's so weird.

Anyone else had this problem?

Try contacting Wheelskins directly if they have a phone #. I'm sure they've dealt with this issue before.

I put some tissues in it (ghetto!) and it looks better. i was so sick of trying to lace it so i just wanted to get it done. i contacted them so i'll see what they suggested.

it took me overall like 3.5 hours to do this simple project because of that one section which i had to keep unlacing and lacing. *furious*

Are you sure you ordered the right size?

Did you double check to make sure they sent you the right size?

According to the wheelskins website, should be:

2004 to 2006

Scion xA, xB

SIZE: 14 3/8 X 3 13/16

Good luck.
