It isn't a "SCION" dealer-instlled option, but most (all?) dealers can and will install aftermarket crui$e control$ for the right in$entive.....

I'd rather not let the dealer touch anything they don't have to, If I can install it (I am mechanically inclined) I will.

Dealers suck. I know they give you the 3 free oil changes, but I doubt I will go to them. If (or when) I buy it, it is getting its first coat of "real" wax, then synthetic from the get go. Tranny will probably get some MT-90 as well.

Im going to go down to the dealer this sunday (They are closed Saturday, open Sunday) and test drive an Auto. It has been years since I last drove a stick.

If anyone in the Houston area knows of a good dealer/salesman, let me know. Im probably going to deal with Fred Haas in Spring.

I have heard good things about Fred Haas Scion World, which is the dealership in Spring. I have dealt with Fred Haas Scion Country on 249, a few miles north of Willowbrook Mall. The sales person I have dealt with there is DaMarcus. He seems to know his stuff pretty well. Mike Calvert Toyota is where I bought mine, and their staff was EXCEPTIONAL!! They are a long drive, but they were the only dealer in Houston at the time that had an xB in BOP with a manual. From others, I have heard great things about Sterling McCall, as they seem to be the dealership that supports the local Scion club.
