Hot Lava owners only
I have a Epson 7600 wide format printer 24 inch wide which can print on vinyl media . I am extending this to hot lava owners only. I will be purchasing the roll media soon. and the liquid laminant to seal the signage. I will print for free a reasonable size sticker for your car Just pay for shiping. It will be good for interior or exterior. It has a stick on backing and can be adjusted whitin 24 hours. The laminant is to seal the archival ink and be UV resistant. So it should be Pro Quality . I can send a small example so you are sure it will be right. So if I get enough takers I will get what I need to get started. Also You will need a photo shop image which is the exact size at 300 dpi . It must be clear and not blured. Also you need to do any cutting out the of excess like the borders or any white area's .

Flames or just about anything. Just the same as they sell for hundreds of dollars. I wont do large for free but 24x36 is about all you need and it wont kill me. I need to do a job so I have to buy fifty feet at a time. You have to be a registered Hot Lava owner thats all. I will send a smaller sample so you have a idea of the quality.

My Hot Lava is going to be in on Wednesday. I will register it as soon as I get it.
I'm a little confused about this thread. Are you making the same sticker for everybody? Do we have to make special requests?

No I am doing a custom sticker all you have to do the design in photoshop and per instruction on my first post. I will be ordering the material next month . So everyone will have enough time to come up with their own personal design. They have to send it to me on disc so I can print it and do a final lamination so it is weather proof an UV resistant. The same process they do on all the car external designs that are stickers. Not many are painted on they are just stickers .

hmm... i really want something cool to put on my xB... like maybe a small sticker for the window.... but i dunno..... could you just make a text one.... i think we should all have the same uniform one.. that might be pretty cool

Hmm, was planning on getting 3 small stickers done (about 6 inches high) to match the one on my bike and the ones I had on my last compact. This would save me the trouble of trying to find sign shops with the right color on hand.
How do you become "registered" as a Lava owner? (mine gets here this week, probably thurs)

It doesn't have to be done in photo shop. But it has to be the right size. I will be ordering the material by the 15th of may . So their is lots of time. As for letters you would have to cut them out. I have a friend though and he has a vinyl plotter and he may do me a favor and cut the letters for free. I will have to visit him and see . All you have to do is refer any business for future lettering to him.

I really think that to add to the continuity, that Doc should come up with a cool registry logo, and it be distributed to all of us... (Ain't I good at delegatin' Doc?) That way, if we see another on the street, we already know it's DOWN!
Maybe yet, we can all submit logos and vote on the one we thing best represents us! Heck, we got till mid-May.. Can an admin here set that up? I gotta start brainstormin'! See ya later!!
P.S. For the next few posts, I'm gonna be redundant and ask if there are any STL SCION folks out there.. I just wanna find out to try to start a club.. don't wanna waste too much bandwidth

Today I ordered 65 feet of vinyl for my epson 7600 wide format printer. Also I ordered a clear UV overcoat to make sure it lasts a long time. So I can get started in a week or so.

I finaly received the vinyl today and if someone wants some thing small as a sample that I can stick in a 5x7 envelope PM me . Maybe a Scion emblem to start so I can send them to several people. Maybe a logo . If some one has any Ideas lets see them.
