How many miles/how long do you think an 04 xB will last?

my 2004 xb
I have a 2004 xb that I bought used. It had about 30,000 miles on it when I bought it. It is now at 224,000. I don't baby it. It has hit deer, backed into telephone poles and I have been rear ended three times. I love this car. So do my grandsons.
QUOTE=xdorkx;2550804]Currently, i've had my 04 xb since 04 (before most people got them), and it's got about 113k miles. It looks great with the exception of a few dings/scratches on the exterior. I'm trying to decide now weather to keep it, or trade it in for something else...
Rides a bit bumpy...butI don't mind the ride, but of course I'm the one driving...and some new $60.00 shocks can fix it a bit...
So, how much more and longer do you think I can get out of it, or is now a good time to trade in while I can still get a decent amount for the trade in (about 5500-6000 or so dealer trade in according to kbb.com)
Thanks :-D

My 04XB (Otis is her name) has 246782 love miles on her. I drive her everyday and she is going strong. I have had to replace the clutch twice and the AC unit once after hitting a coyote. I would love to drive her for another ten years! Maybe I need to start looking for a low mileage replacement engine now?

Im actually amazed
I guess its not exactly a huge deal but this coming from a family that had the 100k and replace attitude because they shunned anything not "american" but I've been driving my 2006 RS3 126,800 or so miles and still going strong switching to full synthetic next oil change as well glad to see they hold up debating on buying a low mile engine as well and hiding it away for awhile because honestly most cars in the price range dont make me smile as much...

I have an 04 XB with around 223,000 miles on it. I drive it a lot, especially on the freeway, but it's been very good to me so far. I bought it with 140,000 on it and I haven't had to do too much outside of regular maintenance. I had a problem where the alternator bracket warped and so I had to replace the alternator and the bracket. I only recently replaced the rotors and I got a new battery for the first time so I'm pretty happy. I do high mileage oil changes now and I'm really hoping my Scion XB lasts many more miles. *Fingers crossed*

It's nice to see everyone getting high miles from their xBs. As for me, I'm at 72K now on my replacement xB and run Mobil One and have no doubt it will go 300K plus if I live that long.

My 06 xB has almost 67,000 miles on it. I did have to replace the water pump in 2012 but nothing else major.
I was going to buy a new civic hatchback but man, they ride low and are so disappointing and expensive for what you get. I bought 6 Honda's over 17 years before I finally dumped them in late 05.
Just think if they still made a 1st gen xB instead of killing Scion by making 2nd gen xB and that horrible iQ etc.
