bump,

i like seeing what people in other states are paying.
makes me cringe and/or cry.

i am getting quotes from different places but the range so far is 1400-2200 yr
100/300/100... 500 ded

plus in NJ you gotta wait 7 days if you don't already have ins. (like i'm buying a gun)

DG, I'm pretty close to you in demographics and location. I'm getting stuck up by Geico for $611 every 6 months for full coverage with a $500 deductible.

Mine is 392.00 every 6 months with AIG. That's with homeowners discount and 2 car discount. No accidents or moving violations. After I get my alarm installed it will go down a little further and I should really take defensive driving for further discount but so lazy to set up an appointment.

I pay $180 a year. What you do is pay for the first month and then cancel it. Scan your insurance paper, change the date and print. Repeat as needed. Cops won't know the difference... BTW, don't get hit by me(white xB w/ Motegi's). If You see my turn signal, I'm letting you know, not asking for permission.

That stinks. I'm sure you would get an additional discount. NJ insurance is BS but I remember hearing a radio commercial from McGrevey(think you spell it like that) saying how the rates are better now.
