Default How to remove side markers?

Ok, next mission - Anyone know how to remove the sidemarker on the front fender just behind the front wheel well?

I just need to temporarily pop out and reinstall after applying a vinyl graphic.

Thanks BIG in advance to any helpers!

it's either a twist or a pop.. i'm gonna guess just pop it off with a screwdriver.. a screw driver wrapped in electrical tape to prevent scratches..

if you're talking about the one on the fender then it just pops out, put a finger in front (towards the front of the car) and pull back on the back of the sidemarker towards the front of the car. you put your fingers in front of the sidemarker to keep it from sliding and scratching your paint.

if you're talking about the sidemarkers on the bumper you gotta unclip the wheel well plastic and pull it back to get to the 2 8mm nuts on the back of the sidemarker.

Exactly what he said. Now, put down that screwdriver and step away from the vehicle!

Here's a tip: I used 2 "squeegees", (the type you use to mix bondo or apply vinyl with), positioned one at the front edge of the marker plastic, and one at the rear.

Pry gently at the rear ... the front squeegee blocks any potential collision with the paint.

And the soft plastic/blade characteristic of the squeegee makes it the perfect "pry with care" tool. YES!!!!!!!!!!! :D
