Default How/Wherer to rent a xB?

I am a long time reader of this forum, i know a few people rented an xB from somewhere, that somewhere is what I want to find.

I called a few LAX car rental places, they don't have xB in their fleet.
I tried a xB in NYC from zipcar, but I am in LA now.
My local Toyota/Scion dealers don't rent xBs.

So, I like to rent an xB to evaulate/confirm if I will like it better than my 2003 accord v6 ex coupe with navi.

thanks in advance

Have you taken a test drive at a dealer? You are looking at a major power reduction from a V6.

Here in the Washington DC area I believe that ZIP cars uses Scion xBs for some of their fleet. I would not know where else to look tho.... I went to the dealership to "test drive" and xA and an xB then go home and think about it....

I drove home in a brand new Camo xB

I took a test drive at South Bay Toyota in Torrance, CA two weeks ago. Drove a 5 speed, it was fast enough for me. I really liked the xB except the HP and no side curtain airbags.

Because I might make the Grapevine I-5 to central california on a weekly basis, I really want to test xB on those roads to see the ride, thus I want to rental a xB for a day or two to really test it.

I have driven the Cajon pass with the xB and it was fine. It is a manual--I would not recommend the auto for the grapevine. You will have to keep the revs up so you don't bog down. You will sure like the economy if you are driving that much--and there is plenty of room. Good Luck.
