I got mine on January 11th... woo!

 

I've had mine for 6 months now, and I still get a thrill.....maybe cuz I've wanted it for so long before I got it.

 

mine just got ordered yesterday, bloody carmax and their allocations.

 

Mine is at the port (its been there for over a week).

 

Ours has been at the port since the 18th. As of today its finally on the truck sitting at the dock lol.

 

We got ours on the 14th of this month! It's such a wonderfully small, but yet roomy box! (^o^ ) <3 Roomier than our former Toyota Sienna. Well, as far as passenger space goes. The Sienna can swallow more junk & 2 extra people, but then it's really cramped, uncomfortble, heavy, & wastes a lot of gas!

Now I'm looking at some lightweight 15" X 7" (205/55-15) or 16" X 7" (205/50-16) wheels. Just gotta decide on what's more practical I guess. ( ^_^)

 

This is a good idea. It gets old seeing all the new post on this subject. Now we'll see if it gets used or not. LOL

Last night I ordered my xB in salsa red pearl, automatic with iPod upgrade. I got a call within 12 hours that it was at the dealership being prepped, and I could pick it up during lunch, which I did. I love my spicy red box.

If anyone has questions about the '06 1/2 model, PM me and I'll do my best to answer, photograph, or whatever it takes to satisfy your curiosity.

Many thanks to Verone at Longo Scion for hooking me up so quickly. In addition to getting everything I asked for, I received nine months of free Sirius satellite radio, too. That's a perk from Longo that I didn't expect, but enjoy. Also, I recently realized I received a chrome (or steel?) exhaust tip installed on my car. I did not ask for -- or pay for -- the accessory. It's listed on the window sticker as standard equipment, eventhough it's still listed as a $64 accessory on the Scion.com web site. My question to the rest of you receiving an '06 1/2 model, did you get the exhaust tip free, also?

Now I don't just read Scion Life, I live it. Yippee!

After about a year of driving a 1993 Honda Civic eith over 250000 miles on it, I finally broke down and ordered a new xB. I actually happened to be visiting a friend who sells cars at Toyota dealership, and we got to talking about Scion and I ended up ordering a Black 06 with a roof rack, manual tranny, and the upgraded wheels. So I placed my order on New years, and I just recieved a call the other day that the car was in the port. I can't wait!


Any idea about usually how long it takes to get from port to dealership?

My birthday is on the 7th. My wife got me a xb. I don't know how she knew. I like the car, but not exactly what I pictured myself buying. 06 with 200miles on it. Metallic type color with a spoiler and some cheap azz wheels. I got to get some rims. This will be the first car that I ever bought rims for, but one look at the shoes, and this car just ain't living up to it's potential till I get some!

Soo happy to get rid of my crappy ford taurus. 80,000 miles and about to replace the oil gasket for the second time, & my wife surprises me with this box! So hype now man! Can't stop looking at it. Can't wait to do it up!

I got a PW xB and am "still" so excited. Had it over 2 years now and enjoy any time spend driving/DIY'ing the xB. I just enjoy the BOX. I am posting here because I never posted an I'm so excited thread when I bought it. Happy xB'ing.

 

I got mine a week ago tomorrow, on Jan 24.

It's great! It was the first Shadow Mica I'd seen and it was on the showroom floor. I didn't even drive it till I was about to sign the papers. Actually, I'd already signed the loan papers. Took a half day off work for it all. The dealer was great. I traded the Special Edition VW Beetle I loved so much.

 

Got mine early DEC and love it! Already got tint, Work equip 01 custom offsets, HKS C compacts, B&M shot shift, and bubble shift **** ^^

 

got mine Dec 23, my own Christmas present. Black Cherry Xb, with wing and adding my pioneer 6400 in dash LCD. I love leaving my house and seeing my car there, makes me want to drive it.

 

My Scion is coming in 02/07, just ordered my plates RS3 Envy, I can't even sleep i'm so excited!

 

Don't get TOO excited. I had 3-4 different "It will be here such and such dates". They would come and go and I finally got it. Congrats though. That green is my 3rd favorite color behind BCP and Hot Lava. It will be soooo worth the wait.

 

ordered a Polar White on Jan 26th, still waiting for word on it. ordering cars is not for the impatient!

 

I got PW xB about a week ago.. And I try to find excuses to tell my wife I'm going out...I love it and have wanted it for about a year so it feels good to finally have it...
