@CiRiS Hi, I replace my rear bumper with the original bumper of Scion xB 2004-2006. Even come with same color. Not needed to paint. The bumper come with LED red position lights, installation bolts,
and the 3X bumper installation pads. Labor was a negotiable cost to like $75 to replace the old Bumper. I drove on the highway with snow and salt. Here are the picture of the car now. I will clean the car soon.

Here is how the new rear bumper is installed. Looks perfect on passenger side!

Here on the rear driver side, a young student hit the car back in November 2010 (was like yesterday). This hit totaled the car. I am driving for 10 years a totaled car, and looks like never get older.

Here in the picture you can see that I not need to move the exhaust position. After the bumper installation it is still in the best position.

The aluminum aftermarket wheels needs a longer bolts to accommodate the rim.
Also, I need to find a better solution for sagging front side bumper top indentation. T

here is a space of like 1/4". What I can do about this?

So just that hit to the rear totaled the car? I was rear ended and it scuffed it up just like yours . It was a kid and I was just like whatever cause he started crying.
Anyways that bumper cover corner gets held up by 1 bolt that goes up in the wheel well and then there is an edge by the head lights where the cover clips kinda under it.

Maybe the tab on the bumper got broke off?

@mrrcom, Hi, I owned before Scion xB 2004 seven other cars (2x Peugeot, Alfa-Romeo, 2x Dodge, Chrysler, Toyota). The car is considered to be a modern way of transportation,
a way of presenting yourself to your neighbors, and a part of your personality. I heard before of a human mental condition, that make people to want to be married with Mountains, Bridges, and other objects (cars).

At the time of my last accident in November 2010, I felt that Scion 2004 xB, will stay with me forever.
It is possible that the Japanese Scion team engineers never intended to manipulate some of the human weaknesses. So I feel sorry for CiRiS.
To avoid Accidents this year I got 4 x Brand New Tires (Made in Brazil - NOT cheap made in China).

Thank you.

Nice looking Toaster! Take good care of it and it will take good care of you. Trust me, I'm on my second 2006 xB and they're great cars.

Its great to see that you got your rear bumper replaced! For the front bumper there is a metal bracket you can buy to fix this. I can't find the exact link to the product at the moment.

Randall Randode West on Facebook is the seller

Hi,
I am curios and waiting for new pictures with Scion xB in "delahaye" shape. Or maybe with a new body form to help so this car will can become a drifter (a controlled slipper).
The question is: how far we can push the limits with this car?

There are no limits!

Imagine this:

- AWD hybrid conversion
- mid-engine 3UR V8 with twin-turbos, ~1200 bhp
- electric motors in front wheels, ~ 150bhp each

total 1500bhp !!! Bet that would be good for breaking 7-min at Nurburing!!!

Based on this thread I just ordered a set of brackets for the front and rear bumpers of my red box from Randall. Very exciting.
