I have a couple of questions about my xB

First of all what Car Waxces does one reccomend? I use magellas? carnuba wax...but I wonder whats the best...

also, I have seen pictures of people changing the color of the frame around the stereo and climate control units.....does one paint that or buy a new face for it? Im new to all this and I want my BOX TO scream me but Im clueless where to start with chaning the colors...

Any suggestions would be great!!!

thanks

You could do 3 options that I'm currently aware of.

1. Paint it yourself

2. Online stores sell high quality overlays (basically stickers)

3. Get it dyed by Patterntek (look under sponsored sales)

Hope that leads you in the right direction

it's very easy to remove and paint the facia if you choose to do it yourself, or take it to a paint and body and have them do it.
Patterntek will do an awesome job if you want a pattern or different look, rather then paint to match the car.. they do some sick $hit, but you have to remove the facia and send it to them.

As far as waxes I like Meguiars's. They've got tons of different options, but most likely what you're looking for is wither their carnuba (natural, wetter look, but less durability 3-6 weeks) or synthetic, like the NXT line (not as deep of a shine, but much more durable 4-6 months).

Meguiar's carnuba comes in a purple bottle and the NXT comes in a strangely shaped purple bottle with a green top. They just released a new version of NXT called NXT 2.0 Tech Wax which has been getting great reviews and is available early at some Wal-Marts.

I'd stick with liquid waxes as they're usually easier to apply than the paste waxes (the ones that come in round tins).
