So, last week i send in a packet for sponsorship to vertical doors inc. I get a call back yesterday from a nice guy named Ken or Kent... i think kent. Anyways he tells me that he reviewed my stuff, but they dont offer an xb bracket. i was all like "that sucks". he goes "but, we are going to borrow an xb and custom fab one up for you under FULL SPONSORSHIP.'' he told me that i will be the first xb in the world with there xb bracket. he also said that because of me that they are going to probably start selling the xb bracket too.

the cost to fab one up for you custom is 1200 plus 1500 for the bracket. i get all for free. these doors also open normally too. the guy also said if some of my scion friends want some, to let him no and he will contact you.

also, after that happened i get a letter in the mail from memphis stating that they would be giving me 1500 in equipment for my car. uhmm wow.

i just started driving in janurary an the car community has really embrassed me, from steve at scionpro to the guys at mobilehid and scionshoppe. all have helped make my ride even more unique. its crazy.

 

congrats! its a great feeling when u get the green light from a company isnt it??? especially when they tell you that they are making a part for you for free!! im excited for you, lol

doesnt that mean they are gonna make you drive around with a big sticker now of their company on your car? thats the only downside :-( i wanna see pictures though of the box with lambo doors lol sweet

 

That's only the beginning. They will require you to do manditory shows all over the country. I said no to sponsors cause I go to whatever shows I want when I want. No hoops for me to jump through. Hope it works out for ya and make sure you read everything and understand what you signup for!

hmm- big stickers and mandatory shows as sponsorship requirements? sounds pretty restrictive.
