well yesterday i just bought the wife a new scion XB hot lava edition. we will be getting some time next week. it's still at port . but when we take her home i will have to post up some pics.

no flames from me... i have 2 vws.. both mk1s and i used to have a mk2, but sold it.

:D sweet..... what kind of mk1's , i had to sell my mk1 gti (galactic blue) move to So. FLA. right now i have a VR with the VF stage 2 kit on it. and we are selling the wife's beetle 1.8t for xb. also had a mk3 jetta.

 

have a 83 Rabbit GTi w/ 2.0T Callaway Stage 3 kit and a 79 rabbit with G60 that i bought for parts (brand new tranny and quaiffe). I had a 91 GLi 2L 16v, that i sold to get the GTi... i love vws and have been thinkin about getting another mk2.

My first car was a 1984 4-door wolfsburg rabbit just before easter 97 and here are some intresting numbers...

10....... the number of people including myself in the rabbit (muffler dragging) at one time

23.5.... is the 0-60 time with 4 people in the car (in sec, auto tranny)

3/4... amount that i could fill my gas tank (3/4 way full) before it started to leak (gas engine)

6... the number of times the gas pedel stuck on the freeway

$800... amount i payed for it out of the Houston Chronicle (all sales final..damn!)

well i drove one today (i sell car and we have a vw store). it is sweet but the thing just weights to much . but till i would kill to have one.....

 

yeah it does weigh alot. i wish i can get one but im only gonna turn 16 in november

 

don't get me wrong it's a great car but even my mk4 is heavy. it had a blast with my bunny, but the bunny did not have half the power of my mk4. so no matter what you do there will always be some pro's and some con's.

by the way the new TC looks to be one hot car. can some one tell my why you would buy a celica over a TC?
