A little history 1st

back in the begginng of Dec I went to the G.A.M.E. festival at Moscone Center in SF. There at the Gamespot booth was a car that they where giving away, so I entered the contest & didnt even think about it again. Then on the 19th of Dec my Wife calls me and tells me there is a strange messsage on our answering machine saying I won a car, she thought it may be a prank so has me call back & Sure enough it was lagit!!

I WON the Gamespot 2004 Scion xB "Ultimate Gamer" booth car !!

and I just picked it up on Friday, and while doing research on the Head unit in it I found this Article on my car in Car Audio Magazine! and lots of pics on the Installer web site here & here & here

Now the only thing different is they removed all the decals but a couple window ones & the "Fragbox" (Gaming computer) was removed. Lets just say I am a little stoked as I almost bought one when they came out but decided to buy my Harley Sportster instead ( was what I could afford atm also)


I'll post more pics later after i get them.


ps- I do have 1 question though...the RS01 badge on the dash looks diff then every other I have seen.. instead of a # it has a date & location .. 1/5/2004 Los Angles so what does that mean? could it be #1 ?

 

The badge is probably that way because the car was produced specifically for that giveaway. It is probably the production date of the vehicle.

Yep TV is there, only thing they removed where most of the decals & the PC. The who system sounds & looks great too

I like how the guy added those two speaker housings in the back.
I'm not sure about the badging, and I can't imagine anyone but specific people knowing what happened there. We've seen strange RS1 badges, but not with dates on them. But it's not #0001, that went to a KISS radio listener in Los Angeles.

note: the back seats are not in the car since that is where the AV Controll box & the Amp & Subs are. ( but I do have the seats in storage lol)

Also note: I talked the my local toyota shop & they will look up the history of my car if I bring in the VIN...may do that today.
