Default I've joined the Steelies Revolution! (56K, go on vacation)

...OK, so I took it a little farther than most:

(not the best pics I know, but I was in limited space in the "garage" area of the company warehouse)

I also added a little "old school hot rod" flair, a la Von Dutch:

As you can see - stock steelies, hot rod trim rings (they don't extend to the lip of the wheel), chrome acorn nuts, those NAPA centre caps, and - yes, Virginia - real 2 1/2" wide whiteys.
I've got more planned (OTG rear shims are probably next up, as far as running gear goes), so I'll post more as I add new goodies, if anybody's interested...

*Lastly, major thanks to SL member "Lip" for hooking me up with the good stuff!

Did I hear my name in this thread? Oh my good God, that looks FANTASTIC! You always have the best look without going overboard and being silly.

I just yanked my hubbies off, and am having one h**l of a time getting them to really shine. What did you do to get them that crisp and pretty looking?

You mean the dust caps? Just polished up the finish they had direct from NAPA a little - I really can't take much credit!

I tryed to find those rings the first time around but didn't have any luck... where did you find them??

Just wipe em down with some rubbing alcohol and shoot them with some clear. They will look better than new.

BTW, NICE look with the wide whites Box Office. Big thumbs up Bro!!! Are those Coker wide whites?

Yup, they're the BFGoodrich Silvertowns that Coker sells, 185/65-15s.

As for the questions about the wheels, they're just cleaned up stockers!
I guess I just got lucky, there was no need for painting or powdercoating.

With the whitewalls, I would roll these:

Box Office, The only mod left is to shave the side mirrors and add 4" peep mirrors like I have. They are only like 30 bucks a pair.
