I've been wondering about those.
What do you use to block off where the mirrors were?
Do the new mirrors have to be bolted on (drilling sheetmetal)? I'm trying not to make any mod that I can't remove later if necessary.

Hey Lip,
Those are awesome! have you tried them out on an xB? I am curious if they are noisy like the moonies are supposed to be.

Too cool.

You'll have to ask "Lip" where the rings came from originally - I bought the set from him.

And yes, Old Guys DO Rule!

First off I made block off plates made of thin plexi and painted the backsides black and attatched them with double sided 3M stuff. I also filled the holes with dum dum stuff just incase.
The mirrors simply clamp on over the channel with the supplied hardware. I wrapped my channels with some 3M clear film for extra protection. If I ever go back to stock, everything is reversable.
They were my way to mix tuners and street rods. I get comments all the time. The best part is they are still funtional once you get them aimed the way you want.

i highly doubt you'll ever hear anything from these. They are thick(not tinny) and to fit them on the xB stock wheel is tough...but once it goes on? its insanely tight fitting. You know how the tabs have to fit into the inset part of rim? these take a bit of muscle and bending of tabs and then they fit awesome. Only put one on for test fitting...sold everything to boxoffice except these caps and the parts i posted

everything is forsale

Awesome!
And that chrome rubstrip looks _____in' with the chrome rims!
They're screaming for some wide whites, though!

thanks! I know, but I ran out of funds, and with the offset and rim width I have, I can only go stretch tires, or else it will rub. I still have my red oem with portawalls to switch once in a while.

With those smoothies I rock Redlines instead of wide whites.
I also like the way you modded the peeps. I thought of doing that instead and still may in the future. Thanks for showing me what is possible.
