Does anyone have a jacked up XB? Like an off road look? Just wondering, thought it might be cool.

 

although the thought of it is amusing, i just don't think it is realistic. have seen a few pictures but nothing appears "off road" worthy in the slightest.

That paint job sucks. And it just looks awkward. I thought it might look cool. Guess not.

 

There have been a few done up as Rally cars with slight lift and big ole spots in the grill. It'd do gravel roads fine but 4X4 offroad action... NO!

 

Here's the one done up by pioneer. Kinda lame if you ask me.

 

All of the "lifted" xB's were non-functional. They couldn't actually go off road

 

That kit probably weighs more than our car !

 

I'd like to see a full set of brush guards made available.

 

The ones that simply mounted an xB body on an already functional chassis/ drivetrain (like Jeep Wrangler or Bronco II) could prolly do ok off road but who knows if they actually ever used it for that???

 

I forget who the drummer was that put this together, but it was a working elevated xB. I dont think it was a 4x4. The paint was all done in a house interior latex i believe.

The Pioneer was just a shell i believe. That xB was set up for sound competition and had no drive train.

AND YES, I HAD A PERFECTLY RATIONAL EXPLANATION.

 

I would totally drive an off road lifted xB! just as long as I had my box as well. What's wrong with having both... I mean I love my box, but there are times when I;m like... crap, when I had my truck I used to be able to go off road. Lol my xB is strictly pavement. It would just hit on everything.
