Does anyone have any pictures of an Open Deck version bB from Japan? I am interested in seeing what is different about them compared to the usual bB. Thanks...

why would you put that emblem on a car that isn't an opendeck?

 

because its different. i like the emblem and already have the OD grill.

also, why would anyone in the US put a bB badge on a xB when it isnt a real bB? that question is kinda silly if you ask me.

 

it makes more sence to put the bb on the xb because it is the same car the open deck is different...

Well, the car is far from an Opendeck and the xB isreally close to a bB.

 

I hear ya, but I still think the little emblem is cool looking and would like to have it on the box to match the OD grill. Why is it so different to want the emblem, but not the grill? Because the grill looks cooler? Or is it so different than wanting the OD grill?

 

if i ever get a box i'm gonna put lexus emblems on it, just to be extra usdm

i thought the exact same thing; it matches the grill, its diff. from the bB which EVERYONE has btw, and it still says bB on it.
the price was about $30 and you have to cutoff the prongs in the back. the opendeck has holes to line up the badge. pm me for the 411 on how i got it. im am not gonna replace it. it would just make me too sick if someone tried to jack it again.[/img]

 

Personally, I think all Scion XB stuff is ridiculous ! They are all 100% made in Japan, why do you think it says TOYOTA on everything. Its the same design, and they just changed the name to Scion so they could do a dealer price-drop...this concept is similar to what they do to Honda/ Acura and Toyota/ Lexus. The only difference is that Acura and Lexus was designed to hit the higher/more expensive market. Anyhow,.I dont think you should do the open deck because its not a open deck however; remember that this is just MY opinion, and as for everyone having the bB badges....its cause there all bB's!

 

yeah I got an OD grill, but turn the emblem over, shazzaam! now its my GO grill!

 

It crossed my mind to do Lexus logos. I would have done xB150. Or my wifes car as a tC240(!?). Or not. Of course everyone has bB emblems I don't blame them. I didn't care for the Scion logos anyway. Everyone has them in Japan too. I wonder when some one will get a knockoff Fabulous emblem to go with the knockoff fabulous bodykit.

Why not make it an xB180 to go with the 1.8L engine?

Why would you put badges from a different car on your xB? The bB/xB thing I can understand, but a whole different car? At least the bB and the xB look the same from the outside and have basically the same interior layout. The opendeck is a whole different frame.

I would like flip up glass in the back, though.

 

i think the xb is better. this thing isnt much greater then a sidekick in my opinion

Whatever to each his own. I have bB emblems on my car cuz I am going JDM with it. But then again if I were to go completely JDM I would have to have an automatic, with the shifter mounted on the steering comumn, and bench seats in the front. In a way the NCP31L (US Version) is better than the NCP31 (JDM version) because we get stick shift, but the JDM version can fit the TRD Turbo, comes with available all wheel drive, sunroof, and navigation. So each country got a trade off. Now with the badges from another model or brand on the xB, I think its completely stupid. But thats my opinion and I cant make do or not do what you want to your car, just you cant with me.
