SO can anyone answer my question...is it ok to put the OD grill on a car, but not the OpenDeck Emblem? The emblem has the bB logo on it. Why am I getting flamed because I want the emblem, but those who have the OD grill are not? And there are plenty on this forum with the OD grill. Sounds like a bit of hipocrisy.

man, just do it. i don't really care what others say and you shouldn't either, and i can say im pretty sure i know how to tune cars. there are a lot of P.O.S. cars on these forums that are super riced out and really wak but i don't critisize there cars. not to sound like a dick but some of these people who critisize have the worst tuned cars and in the end i know my car is nicer/better. to each his own.............

People, I have already ordered the emblem 3 days ago. By no means am I asking any of you "permission" to get this emblem. I simply wanted to know the reasoning behind those whom approve of the grill, but disapprove of the emblem. I want to hear the reasoning.

It means it was a limited production vehicle that was made for a short time.

I like the sleekness of the OD grill, but I don't want the OD logo on an xB. It's like seeing Hondas with a type R badge that aren't or can't be Type R's. Just get the light up bB grill. Still looks clean and VIP.

why is that if anyone wants to do something different to their cars i.e. de-badge or re-badge they become ricers or the car becomes a rice. i don't get it. it's their car and money and it's not yours (in general). i myself likes my car to stand out so i like to do things differently on my car . it's my money and my ride and if you don't like it i could care less. there are only 2 kinds of car enthusiasts, the one with money and the one with enough money to buy stuff here and there. this is just my frustration on you guys pickin' on the so-called ricers.

As for the message I've quoted, there are no acuras in japan in the first place. second, it's their car and money. third, it makes the car stand out and different.

But it actually is a LHD bB!!! But people put Type-R on Acuras and Hondas that don't even have the power to be a Type-R.

A sunroof would be cool. Actually, a panoramic like on the tc. I wonder how much something like that would cost.

I was quoted something like $1800 to install a panoramic sunroof by the dealer. I'm not going to take them up on that, but thats what I heard from them. I'm sure it can be done much cheaper, but sunroofs are one thing I think xB's could really benefit from....that and steering wheel stereo controls..grrr....

oh, hehe, to stay on topic I also dont' care for rebadged cars unless its technically justified. I think OD on an xB is kind of dumb unless you saw off the back 1/3 of your xB so it is open deck. The same goes for type R badges on civic DX's and the like.

Again, people can do whatever they want with their cars; they own them... but sometimes no matter who you are... its just wrong.

Now thats a real rebadging nightmare.
