Default Just Bought a NEW XB

I just got the 06 camo XB and I have a question. I hear a disgusting vibration sound coming from left side of my dash when i go on bad roads. I really dislike it and it makes me loose love for my car. Can anyone help and also would the dealer be able to do anything about this. Please reply.

Try your best to come up with a very precise description of the problem, and as close as you can pinpoint the location of the sound, then take it to the dealer. That's what they're there for.

If you just got your box I wouldn't waste any time I'd be at the dealer first thing in the morning. You have a warranty, not to say they gave you something for free....

Congrats on the new Camo Box. Like they said above, you can never give enough info to the service writer. You may also want to insist on driving the car with him/her to show them the noise to avoid the "we didn't hear it" syndrome some dealers have.

I agree with carfixer. If you go in with a vague complaint, you'll have more difficulty getting it fixed. Don't tell them what is wrong necessarily, but do make sure you tell them the symptoms as precisely as you can.

welcome! how did it go at the dealership? Rattles are the worst to find and fix, sometimes they become wild goose chases, and I'm sure that's the 'unfriendliness' you heard in the guy's voice.
