Default Just ordered my Xb- some questions

I ordered a Black Xb last wednesday! They said it would be 3-5 weeks. How long does it REALLY take to get one of these?

I also ordered some 18's and lowering springs. :D

It took two months for me to get the RS 2.0 from when I ordered it. When I asked the dealer if getting another color would be quicker, I was told that they are taking about 5-6 weeks to arrive. They didn't know why, though. They just thought that the demand is much greater than the current production supply.

Two weeks and counting. I was told it would arrive at the port last Friday (5/13). Just a TCM 5-speed, with fog lamps and strut tower brace.

I think I waited about 4 weeks for mine to come in. Nothing better than fresh off the boat?

I don't know where some of you guys are located, I'm waiting at Piercy Toyota for my yellow XB to be delivered from another dealership, they have a few black ones, thunder thinggie, silver and even a green one. So no waiting here for the right color.
I can't believe in less than 3 weeks I have bought two Scions one silver Tc with tons of options and now this yellow one. Scion should buy me dinner.

Not to break anyone's heart, but I got one right off the showroom floor. My only wait was for my financing to go through, and that took a few days.

when they first came out i almost had to wait 2 months :-O i was lucky and waited a week for mine. i dont see any xB's at my dealer here. i think its because the distributor are trying to make sure their arent any leftover xB's on the lot. this i read in another thread somewhere.

I test drove one last week and the sales person said they were running 4-6 weeks to get since they have almost reached the end of the production run for 2005 ( ~32K ) and pretty soon you're just going to end up with an '06. They only had one PW manual on the lot. When I called up the next morning to put down my deposit someone else had already put down a deposit on the box.

So I called up another local dealer and I was lucky enough that the exact same color w/ a stick was sitting on the lot. So of course I head over, since I'd rather not wait 4-6 weeks if I don't have to. While the paperwork is getting put together she realizes she had already agreed to trade that one for a BCP one. Fortunately I had already told her about my previous attempt to get the car that day and she let me take that one. I bet if I had called a day later I would have been SOL.

So the moral of the story is that it sounds like 3-6 weeks is what its gonna take to get one but if you are really impatient you might be able to find one at another dealership depending on how lucky/particular you are. At least you're not getting a Prius, while I was waiting for financing and other stuff the sales lady told me she just delivered one to a guy that ordered it back in June of 2004

check on www.cars.com
It will give you a list of Scions in stock at dealers within your driving range.
Who knows, what you are looking for may be on a dealer lot. Then you wouldn't have to wait at all.
I found my RS2 in a dealer showroom. Couldn't believe nobody had a deposit on it.
I scoffed it up right on the spot......

I got lucky. I was in the market for 2 cars. I had made up my mind to purchase an xB and was not sure what to buy for the second car (for the wife). We wanted some kind of vehicle that can cary 6-7 people. Most likely a min-van or SUV. The xB I wanted must be TCM with auto (left knee problem). They didn't have either. Next day he called and said they have the xB and probably the other car. We went down and liked the car for my wife and I jumped on the xB. Took 30 minutes for them to deliver (refi house, paid cash). Now you can't get me out of my car. I have not even driven my wifes car yet.

I've waited 3 weeks so far for a BSP XB, manual, mostly stock, I think the stuff I added would be installed by the dealer anyway. I was told 4+ weeks. Can't wait though

You got the same 'it's ugly' speech, huh? I got that one too. when we first saw it at the auto show, she was like 'no way in hell', but she's warmed up to this one. when the concept for the t2b came out, I fell in love, and she went stright to hating it. that's what happens when people aren't open to different things (and yes, I understand that point can be turned multiple ways)

I waited a month, but that was because they weren't selling them on the east coast yet. Picked it up Feb. 2, 2004.

That is funny, three days ago I was near the Yokohama tolls for the Tomei, on Rte 16 and I saw a truck with some bB's on it. I was amazed to see the first one had Scion badges on it... then it dawned on me that they all did. It was a truck of xB's on their way to port. I live in the Kanagawa Prefecture, which is where the xB's are made.... maybe I should take a tour of the factory.

I hope the wait isn't too long, I can't wait to drive mine!
