Default KARR security system

hey guys new to scion's .
Anyone know about karr alarms ? well i have a 06 xb and came with the 2040 KARR alarm , i been reading the owner's manual for the alarm and notice that the #3 button /trunk (opt.) "can be connected to a
number of different optional accessories. some of the more common uses for this channel are;

-remote trunk release
-ability to operate the security features of another vehicle equipped with a copatible KARR security system
-remote garage door interface
-remote window closure

does anyone know how you can hook up the window closure or maybe remote start?

Default Using AUX option on the alarms

Yes you can have your windows roll up or have your engine start using AUX output, BUT...

The alarm it self will not be able to do it, so you will have to get a module for your windows unless you have an option on your window switches to AUTO raise or lower for all four windows(you can use one wire with 4 diodes).

If alarm has a module built in - you will find at least 4 or more wires coming out of the alarm unit to each of the window control/motor, OR you will see at least 4 wires for engine start (1 - Starter relay, 2 - Brake light switch, 3 - P/N position on Automatic trans / Clutch for manual, 4 - Ignition switch)

Most of the alarms have only 1 wire labeled AUX which will activate the module unless its a one switch operation - like a trunk release, gas tank cover, auto raise/lower only one window, auto close/open sunroof. You get the idea.

For operating security feature on another vehicle all you do is program the 3rd button on your remote to another vehicle's alarm and disconnect AUX wire from KARR unit to what ever is connected to (otherwise you will have your KARR feature activated while you try to use it on another vehicle).

Sorry for disappointment, hope you will get out of this situation.
