kenstyle body kit problems

Default kenstyle body kit problems

well ive finnally got my xb on the road except i dont have my body kit on. i purchased a kenstyle replica kit and everything fits fine except the side skirts. does any of you know how they attach because they sent no brackets or hardware? do they go on top of the stock side skirts? any help will be greatly appreciated.

I had the authentic Kenystly kit and the fitment on the sides was off too. I had the shop rivet the skirts on near the front and rear and then use filler over it. Once you do that it will sit flush, atleast on the authentic one.

You're gunna need to drill new holes under the doors (the little slit on top of the kit where it is hidden when the door shuts, and then screw that bad boy in. Also by the wheel wells, 2 on each side...with screws...no rivets.

it sux, thats how my fabulous kit was dun but luckily the cars dark blue so u cant see the holes wen u open the door

its only visible when you open the doors but I dunno wat color hes got...if its darkm then its not noticeable at all

thanks for the help guys, my xb is white so most likely ill have to use body filler to cover screws. so if i am understanding correctly part of the side skirt goes inside the door right?
