Any service advisors out there that could check the book for this job? I'd wager that's not even a booked estimate, it sounds like a lot of places are throwing out huge quotes and seing if people will take it. Of course it helps they put the fear of "warranty" in people...

shop around not all dealers and shops have the same rates
hell you can call 4 dealers and get 4 differnt prices to me it
sounds like a bloated est even if the job listed in the book
takes say 2.5 hrs and the tech finishes it in 30 min thats
normal practice another tech may take 4 hrs to complete
(he/she would have to be an idiot) but shop around before
doing work!!!!
