Lol, if it wasn't for the bB and ist brought over from JDM land and becoming a hit there would be no spin offs and other companies following suit and bringing theirs over. Once Scion came out with the xB2 that brought the city car to an end, until the iQ releases.

I have driven a Soul for 2 days recently. And at highway speeds it sounds like those hamsters are playing marbles on a steel table under the hood. Also unstable over rougher pavement. Interior looks so so other than the cheap looking "soul" smeared seats, but overall it is about the same feel of quality as in any previous Kia. Feels like they dressed up a bit to make people feel that quality went up, but that feeling goes away after driving it for a bit. 70 miles on the freeway a couple of times started really showing the old standard kia

But yeah... the fun Kia is poking is a direct result of the way the "typical" culture is in this market.. at least the younger attitudes Up where I live I have only ever (and I am not exaggerating) seen maybe 3 people under 40 drive an xB.. most are either delivery or old people, so I guess the demographic is different here, but the brand fanboys and fangirls (aka haters of all else other than what they drive) out there are the reason the other brand pokes fun.

Well they have to do something to get people to buy the product. And well toyota has quality hence why most adults who know anything about cars would buy a scion.Although i would say that any toyota made in the USA i would not buy and for those that do not know yes we have american made tooyta's.And yes toyota takes a chance with the bb and ist and made the scene spread like wild fire and why else as a company would you not want that?I really hope that other's take notice and start to import alot more i def like to see some other car's here in the state's,but with the american attitude toward other countrys it may never happen.

1) Hoping that rather than improve american cars people should just import everything is a very, very poor logic if you know what is going on with the world economy

2) Yep... that toyota camry that has been made in america is such a horribly built car.... we ALL know that tons of toyotas are made here, and they are of great quality. It is the place the american companies got themselves with unionized plants that hurt our auto facilities so much.

The Kia is not a competitor as Scion has left the marketplace to others to fill when they abandoned the real xB.

Honda Element is also leaving, though theirs was not a direct competitor, in 2011.

So, the Cube is really all the Kia has to battle and truthfully, the Kia is a poor imitation of a car to start with, same for its sister brand Hyundai. No thanks.

The agency who did this is called David & Goliath and they do good work, but they can't make Kia make better cars, only expose the faults of garbage.

Educate me if im wrong but I have heard that The toaster was actually suppose to be the honda element and the xb was the cardboard box, i always thought of the xb's as toasters though, and still do but just wanna double check.
