Default Looking for info on mounting of rear glass...

Hi all
I was wondering if anyone could provide me with any detailed information on how the rear glass is mounted to the rear hatch. Info like is there any kind of rubber seal or is it mounted purely with whatever sealer/glue (urethane I believe) is in there.

Background; car was hit in the rear in end of June. The whole rear hatch, bumper, strike plate had to be replaced but the glass didn't break; it was reused on new hatch. Last week I noticed the glass leaking from the passenger's side upper corner when cleaning the windows while getting gas. I brought it in and had it fixed yesterday. It still leaks so I'm going back again today. Its a small leak that dribbles water down the inside of the rear glass. This is the dealer collision facility but they contract out the glass work.

If anyone knows any specific reason why this area is so difficult for them to fix I'd like to be able to present it to the guy so I don't have to keep going back. THANKS

think it's just sealer/glue, i'd tell'em take it out and redo the whole window, tell'em if they can't get it right you'll have some really big guy come down and start kicking azz, lol

I'm thinking they just swapped it over without adding a line of silicone. Prolly easy fix. Just remove glass light coat of sealer then reinstall.
