Default LOOKING FOR SOME HELP

Hello to everyone out there i was wondering if I could get some ideas on a problem i am having? Recently i have been having some reception problems with my stock radio on almost all the local channels. I have changed head units and am still having the same problems. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have any ideas or helpful hints i just don't know what it could be. Thank you in advance hope someone has some advise for me.[/b]

1 of 3 things could be the problem.

a. the antenna isnt plugged in al the way

b. the antenna doesnt match the new HU, u will need a antenna adapter

c. weather conditions and or electrical failure or radiation has blocked your atmosphere from your usual clear receptions.

fix these 3 and ull be ok

The antenna has a power booster built in. Perhaps it is no longer connected to power. When you hooked up the new radiod did you connect power to the antenna booster wire in the factory harness (I can't remember but I think it may be orange/white check the electrical diagram for the audio system to be sure) it needs radio switched power (power antenna lead works).
