Maint Req reset?

your trip odometer..needs to be showing your mileage..not trip 1 not trip 2
I believe you hold the button (trip reset button) in, and turn the ignition switch to on..wait 3 seconds or so
and it resets
if I got something wrong..I'm sure someone will come and correct me soon

Yea, that's nice and all but whatever.
Make sure that your Odometer is set to ODO (not Trip)
Press the button in. Turn the car to 'ON' while holding the button.
Dashes will appear on the Odo and count down. When the display flashes, the counter will reset for another 5k miles. You can release the button.

I beleive each dash is a thousand miles, so if you stop it at 3 dashes, it'll come on at 3K, and so on.
