Default Maybe It Just Me........

Pet Peave:

One thing I noticed that bugs me about some mods and maybe it's just me, but I'm an exhaust man. I've seen some awsome mods done (body kits, wheels, dropped) and one thing that kills it for me is with all these fine modifications (and they are real nice) the limp spaggetti stock tail pipe still remains intact. Now if someone can plunk down $600.00+ for wheels & tyres, go ahead to AutoZone, Wal-Mart, etc and spend that extra $10 - $15 and get that chrome tail pipe to complete the look.

Is it just me ????

i agree... you gotta put SOME chrome down there... and 15 really is not that much... but honestly it is almost un-noticeable unless you let it stick out a little farther.... i got the one from the dealer and its kinda hard to see... but then again i saw a dual exhuast tip that was kinda odd... to each their own but i agree, a little chrome down there is nice! just windex that sucker every once and a while and alls well!

You are not alone in the feeling brother. I did the tip thing for awhile but upgraded to the Strup V2.0 and never looked back.

I agree that you need something... I have the TRD and the tip sticks out just enough. I like it.

i see insane modded cars all the time from hawaii and i'd guess that exhaust tips are the least of all worries. but i guess cars I see are owned by idiot outlaws . lol.

You know it doesn't have to be extravegant, but ANYTHING other than the stock spagetti tip they come with will do. I bought the optional Scion tip, it's not bully looking but it's neat and completes the look, plus it fills the space pretty decent.

Like I said ANYTHING other than the stock.......

katchkillah:
They really pull you over in Hawaii for a chrome tip ???? Damn
even the optional Scion tip:

The $40 Valor tip looks really good because it double-walled, with a thick substantial appearance from the rear.

Right now I only have the factory exhaust tip .........which in my opinion sucks.....but.....on my old box I had a dc sport exhaust and man that thing was annoyingly loud for me and the passengers in the back especially......I want a nice performance exhaust that doesn't scream......it is fine for the first few weeks but after a while it gets a bit annoying.....does anyone know of such an exhaust??????I think this time I might save up and spring for the cat back system

Rich your tip looks fine! Better than the stock crap that came with it. I think the Valor looks stockish without being wimpy. Your box is put together just right!
You're right about exhaust noise getting annoying after a while. I'm keeping the stock system til it falls off.....
