Heh.

It's funny, you wouldn't believe how many people (of ALL ages...) have stopped me in parking lots, at stoplights, etc., to comment on that license plate frame!
It's my "Most Noticed" mod!

The first thing I did when I got my box home was stop at autozone and picked up two chrome frames with smoked covers. I really couldnt stand the thought of promoting the dealership that I went to, they really werent good enough to be on my toaster

I dont even know if Ive got a tip on mine or not, it was bought used (only 5200 miles though :D) and may very well have one, but if it doesnt Im really liking that 3A Racing tip mentioned above, I may have to make yet ANOTHER trip to autozone after work tomorrow...

Well, actually, I made it up!
There's a booth in a local mall that makes up custom license plate frames - and Ta-Da! - you see the result!

(...maybe I should get this patented!!!???)

I still have to get pics of my box in general, so when that time comes Ill be sure to snap the tip for you guys!

Did anyone else have a hard time getting the stock tip off? I dont know if it was all the sand wedged between the pipe and tip or what, but that sucker did NOT want to move until I "persuaded" it with a screwdrive and brute force (and a little bent metal )

Are you kiddin'? I actually even posted here about that because I thought I MUST be doing something wrong! I couldn't get that thing to budge for anything, and I was afraid I was going to end up tweaking something.
Like you, I finally...ahem..."finessed" it off with a screwdriver, some prying, and a mallet.
