Default Messiest xB?

Folks,

I'm about to take on a new TCM 5-speed xB, and getting really excited about it. Should be in in about a week.

Unfortunately, I broke my right foot earlier this week, and I'm just starting to regain the ability to hobble around the house without those lousy crutches . Gotta keep the foot healing, else I won't be able to drive my new baby home...now THAT would suck!

Now, here's my issue. I've gotta get my old car cleaned out before I trade her in...and she is messy. Trunk, back seat, driver's storage pockets all crammed with junk. Man, I gotta focus on keeping my new sweetheart clean and neat!

How many of you have this same struggle? I wish I could post pics, but right now I can't waste a trip out to the old car just to take a few shots.

I present all of you with a challenge...pretty much just to make me feel a little better...

Who dares to demonstrate that their's is the MESSIEST xB on the road! Please post pics if you have 'em. I need a little sympathy, and maybe a good laugh, too!

My old car (86 camry) was full of papers and trash and stuff. I couldnt put anything under the seats in my old car for all the crap under there, but my xb i keep very clean. Never any trash at all. the only item in my car at this time is the cd case. so i didnt have too much of a stuggle, i think that if you are paying for a car and you look at how nice it is it makes you wanna keep it clean inside and out.

This guy at work has a BOP XB and the thing is piled floor to ceiling with junk. I'm not kidding when I say the only open spot is the driver's seat. I work security there and I feel like writing him a ticket for cruelty to scions.

Hehe...that's just what I hope to avoid!

...p.s. - the foot is getting better, and I'm using a cane to get around the house now. Still smarts, tho.

I'm super nutty clean with my xB. I had a Porsche 924S before
the box that came with a trashed interior, so I wasn't as nice
to it as I am with the box, I had a bad habbit of throwing
recepts and wrappers and bags and whatnot on the
passenger floor then picking it up once a week. Not to mention
the dust that would build up from all the highway driving.
I swear I could write my name in the dashboard with the crazy
dust!

The box on the other hand, NOTHING consumable goes
into the box except water and groceries. I try to even avoid
going to get fast food in the box for fear of spills. I dust off
the interior every 3-4 days with a fresh microfiber cloth.
And I do all the windows and get all the cat hair, girlfriend
hair, and my hair off the seats once a week. When I get ready
for a local meet with the Scion Evolution guys, I hose off the
floor mats, vacuum the floor, and brush all the rugs on top
of everything else I've mentioned.

So yeah, except for the scratches the moon roof installers
put in my plastics, my box looks factory new!

(I used to have a friend back in NJ who seemed to trade in his big Detroit iron whenever the back seat got too full of MacDonalds wrappers to take any more...Really! There was the bench seat up front and the rolling landfill in back... Jerry was a one-of-a-kind.)
